Free Holiday Meal Offered to Seniors Dec. 16 in Their Home or at the 3rd Ward Social Club

The Aurora Township and Senior Services Associates are spreading Christmas cheer at their free annual senior holiday party on Dec. 16, Saturday, at 10:30 am at the 3rd Ward Social Club in Aurora. The event features a full meal with turkey, ham and all the fixings plus live entertainment and a present from Santa. Members of East Aurora School District ROTC, Kane County Sheriff’s office and City of Aurora Senior Services serve and clean up. Volunteers are needed to deliver a meal and gift to seniors at their home if they can’t attend in person. Call 630-897-4035 to register.
