Residents React to Plan to Build New Hollywood Casino Next Year & Close Downtown Location
Residents react to a plan to close one of downtown Aurora’s largest employers and entertainment venues. Hollywood Casino says the Mayor supports its proposal to build a new casino and hotel off I-88 next year. While gamblers like the idea of an updated casino near the interstate, some are concerned it could lead to another vacant building downtown.
