Mike Mancuso:
Superjumbo is a toy store, a vintage store. It is the store of the Yetee, which is my T-shirt company that we've been running out of Aurora for a long time. So Superjumbo is us opening up our retail store. Right now, it's a lot of vintage toys, a lot of blind box toys. So instead of going to a toy store and having to dig through like dirty toys, we cleaned them off.

Joey Thurman:
Okay.

Mike Mancuso:
We made sure they were nice and fresh, and we repackaged them, kind of told you what it is, and based on how popular that figure is, they're five, 10 bucks, in that range. The late '80s, early '90s, that's kind of my era of toys that I really love. So that's what the vintage stuff is, is me just kind of rescuing these '90s toys. There's plenty of stores in Chicago, like Rotofugi and Toy de Jour, that sell this stuff, but I don't like driving an hour to get there.

Joey Thurman:
Right.

Mike Mancuso:
So I'm like, "Well..." I have... I'm a collector as you...

Joey Thurman:
I figured that out, yeah.

Mike Mancuso:
And share my collection with everybody.

Joey Thurman:
Do you remember your first toy where you decided like, "I need to keep this because either one day it's going to be worth something," or just had this feeling where you didn't want to let go of it?

Mike Mancuso:
I had the opposite. I came home from school one day, and all my toys were at a garage sale, and they were just scattered around the neighborhood.

Joey Thurman:
Really?

Mike Mancuso:
So I'd babysit a kid, and he had my Ghostbusters toys. I was like...

Joey Thurman:
So what? Mom, dad, are they just like decided just to sell them?

Mike Mancuso:
Yeah. Yeah, they had a garage sale. I didn't play with them anymore.

Joey Thurman:
Yeah.

Mike Mancuso:
Because I was collecting them.

Joey Thurman:
Right.

Mike Mancuso:
And then ever since then, I've always been on a quest to bring everything back in tenfold.

Joey Thurman:
Yeah. Is there a favorite section or toy that you have in here?

Mike Mancuso:
Ninja Turtles.

Joey Thurman:
Ninja Turtles?

Mike Mancuso:
Are definitely my favorite.

Joey Thurman:
Up there, yeah.

Mike Mancuso:
Yeah. So I'm a sucker. I'll buy any Ninja Turtle stuff.

Joey Thurman:
Yeah.

Mike Mancuso:
Right now, Facebook is the best place to find us because we're trying to stay local. Yeah, big things coming this summer.

Joey Thurman:
Big things coming this summer. We've got some nerd upcycling. Mike Mancuso.
