Joey Thurman:
All right, Rick, a lot of people want to eat more plant forward. So how can we do that?

Rick Sanchez:
Well, a lot of times we don't know what to do with it. So here at Legacy Nutrition and Fitness, we find three different ways to kind of use our plant based proteins and use it to something you can have right away.

Joey Thurman:
Okay. And this is pretty. What makes it green and what is this?

Rick Sanchez:
Actually, that's a mix of spinach, kale, and a mix of other different fruits mixed together with a rice, pea and quinoa based protein.

Joey Thurman:
Okay. So it gives me my protein and gives me my spinach too?

Rick Sanchez:
Yes. [crosstalk 00:00:40]

Joey Thurman:
Okay. I'm going to try it. I'm going to be honest, all right?

Rick Sanchez:
All right.

Joey Thurman:
That's delicious. I think people think things are going to taste like plants. This tastes like goodness. And what do we have here?

Rick Sanchez:
This is a banana nut. We use the same protein, rice, pea and quinoa base, but we added vanilla, sugar free syrup and we put a banana in there, half a banana, and a little bit of granola and some nuts.

Joey Thurman:
It smells so good, too. Is this your favorite one?

Rick Sanchez:
It is one of my favorites.

Joey Thurman:
Nothing like eating and drinking on camera. That is really good too. You can't even tell that it's not a whey based protein.

Rick Sanchez:
Yeah.

Joey Thurman:
And I think that's one of the common misconceptions with having plant-based proteins. And when people come in, do they even know that you're using plant-based proteins?

Rick Sanchez:
They usually ask us if they're looking for that. Otherwise, we kind of give them a mix of whatever they're looking for at that time. So the great thing is being able to customize to their nutritional needs at that day.

Joey Thurman:
Okay, cool. And this one looks fun. What is this?

Rick Sanchez:
So same base protein, rice, pea and quinoa, but we mixed it with some quick oats, some granola, some coconut and blueberries. But we have a banana one as well, that's really popular. A pecan, as well.

Joey Thurman:
You see that? Wow, I get my carbs. I just got a workout in and I feel good. Legacy Nutrition and Fitness, and just leave me alone, because I'm going to eat here. So why don't you take it away?

Rick Sanchez:
All right.
