Denny, what do we have here, man?<br /><br />Denny Ma:<br />Axe-throwing bar, man. The only one in Illinois.<br /><br />Joey Thurman:<br />The only one in Illinois.<br /><br />Denny Ma:<br />Yeah.<br /><br />Joey Thurman:<br />So you said there's other places in Illinois where people throw axes, but you actually are the only one where you're serving alcohol.<br /><br />Denny Ma:<br />Yeah, we're the only one in Illinois that actually has a full, actual functioning bar. So you can order any cocktails, or you can go check out our beer machine. Our beer machine's the best thing we have because it pours the beer from the bottom to the top.<br /><br />Joey Thurman:<br />But to me, alcohol and axes, that sounds a little dangerous.<br /><br />Denny Ma:<br />No, the only reason it's dangerous is if you don't have any rules behind it.<br /><br />Joey Thurman:<br />Okay.<br /><br />Denny Ma:<br />So we do have structure here, so you're allowed to have one drink an hour while you're axe throwing, and you have to order your drinks through your axe-throwing coach.<br /><br />Joey Thurman:<br />Okay, so there is a coach that's sitting here monitoring you the whole time?<br /><br />Denny Ma:<br />Yes, exactly.<br /><br />Joey Thurman:<br />Okay, so if I stumbled up and I was playing pool for hours, the coach is going to be like, "Hey man, you're just a little too tipsy right now to grab a weapon that could possibly harm somebody."<br /><br />Denny Ma:<br />Exactly. So we would make sure you get sobered up before you even participate in axe throwing.<br /><br />Joey Thurman:<br />Okay. And you guys have a lot of touches that other axe-throwing places don't have. So you've got a pool table, there's a big punching thing, which I'm going to try. You've got basketball, you have the amazing bar set up. What else has you stand out from other places?<br /><br />Denny Ma:<br />So, every half an hour we do give our customers or whoever's axe throwing new axe-throwing weapons. So you go can anywhere from axes to knives, to throwing stars, to ninja cards, stuff like that. So it's a little bit different, so every 30 minutes you're trying something new.<br /><br />Joey Thurman:<br />And you allow kids in here, correct?<br /><br />Denny Ma:<br />Yeah, so we allow kids. Kids under 12 are half off, and then after 10:00 PM is 21 plus.<br /><br />Joey Thurman:<br />Okay.
