Aurora Draws New Boundaries Despite Threat & Creates LGBTQ Advisory Board 30 Years Later
On the same night the Aurora City Council earned praise for creating its first LGBTQ advisory board, aldermen approved new district boundaries opposed by a Mexican American organization after a long and contentious discussion. The group may sue the city for reducing the number of wards with Latino majority according to estimated population numbers.
