Aurora Adds New City Department and Two More Highly Paid C-Suite Positions in 2023 Budget

Aurora aldermen approved a new city department and highly-paid department head, bringing the total number of C-suite executives at the city to 10, with salaries up to $237,000.  A chief public facilities officer will lead the new public facilities department, overseeing duties now handled by the public works and development services departments.
