About 50% of City Workers in Aurora Earn More Than $100,000 in Salary This Year Compared to 40% in Naperville
Aurora aldermen approved a 2023 budget that supports more than 1,000 government jobs at the city, with about half earning over six figures and six pulling in more than $200,000. Only one position in Naperville – the city manager – made more than $200,000 last year. Naperville’s mayor made $28,000, while Aurora’s Mayor Richard Irvin made $159,000 in 2022.
